updates We were at the quiz night with Sebastian Jakoby. No admission price was mentioned when registering or on the to hoop website. But it was only clear after asking in the evening. 4 euros. Was ok in itself just poorly communicated. Then I have to admit that the store has really hefty prices. 3.80 euros for 0.4 Pils ?? Then the event was divided into two rooms. Where we were sitting we could only guess Mr. Jakoby once. It's not like he's talking to people and putting on a "show". At the end everyone could have read the questions. I was roughly asked how much tip I wanted to give. I tip for good service. Here comes the last problem! We ordered chicken soup and fries with sour cream with our drinks. We were table number 17 and we saw a young waiter bring our order to table number 12 which was empty lol. We asked him if that didn't belong to us and then he brought it to us. Since the sauce looked like mayo instead of sour cream, I asked and he said he didn't know and took it back. Then he came back and put it down and said dunno I'll just put it here. After repeated questions he asked and it was about sour cream. Conclusion very chaotic. It bothered me that the landlord asked me so rudely what kind of tip I would like to give, although if I give a tip then I give it to the waiter and not to the landlord, who can't assign who he can pay the tip to. I previously gave it 4 out of 5 stars Unfortunately only 3 left Nice place and handicapped accessible! Nice place with a very friendly host. As a guest of a celebration, there was a nice good middle-class buffet. Food was impeccable and very tasty. We were looked after all around. 4 stars instead of 5 because I sometimes found the way the service treated us guests rude. Here in the Ruhr area you can get straight to the point, but please be friendly anyway. All in all, we were greeted in a friendly manner and well taken care of. It could also just be a bad day with the service no reason not to visit the place.
