Awesome little place with tons of character! Note: as many smaller bars and restaurants in Stralsund, they only take cash.

A few months ago, we planned and spent a five-day vacation in Stralsund. One evening, while walking down the street late at night, we happened to stumble upon this bar. It was about to close, but they didn’t turn us away. They packed our drinks and even treated us to a cumin shot. After such a warm welcome, we made plans to visit again the next day, and I think we ended up spending all three nights of our time in Stralsund at that bar. We met amazing people, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The bar staff was so warm and friendly that I didn’t want to forget this experience and took a photo with them. I’ve never encountered such genuine and welcoming people in any bar here. The music at the bar was so perfectly in tune with the atmosphere that I had to ask for their playlist. Sometimes when we throw parties at home—especially kitchen parties, which we love—I use their playlist, and the nights always turn out great because it reminds us of the vibe of that bar. I truly hope the magic of the bar never fades, and it remains this way forever. In fact, we are planning to visit Stralsund again and this time, just for that bar! Wait for us, Zur Fähre!
