Great lake, awesome staff and nice drinks! Especially the SUP courses for beginners are done very well with the right mix of fun and learning new skills. Thank you for the great experience!

I haven't ridden it myself, it's a lift that goes back and forth, not in circles like most others. This has the advantage that it doesn't matter whether you drive regular or goofy. You can take the curves however it suits you better. I imagine getting the turnaround to be challenging, but maybe only because I haven't done it yet. I didn't ride because there was a hip try-out wakeboarding event that day (not announced on the website?), at least I felt a little strange among the helmeted people, so I just watched. And that brings me to the point, because the facility is very much geared towards people who want to do all sorts of tricks and jumps, jumping and sliding over these floating plastic obstacles. There is hardly any space for people like me who want to do their laps comfortably in the slalom. So I can't say what it's like for beginners. The facility is flourishing because it has been Corona summer for the last two years, because on a normal pre-Corona flight day, when a plane lands every 90 seconds, it is definitely unbearable there. The planes are so close that you can see the whites of the pilot's eyes as they approach. You're lucky if the jumbo jet's wake doesn't blow your towels into the lake.
