This was my second visit to Tahdig Restaurant, and as someone who travels frequently to Munich for business, I can confidently say that Tahdig has become my favourite Persian restaurant in the city. The food is authentic, delicious, and of excellent quality. The impressive variety of dishes, together with their beautiful presentation, reminds me of premium traditional restaurants in Tehran. Make sure to try one of their Persian stews served with "tahdig"—the crispy rice that gives the restaurant its name. You can find kebabs almost everywhere, and to be honest, kebab is one of the easier Persian dishes to prepare well. The real test of quality is whether a restaurant can make rich, flavourful, and truly authentic Persian stews, and Tahdig certainly succeeds in this. Their stews are exceptionally tasty and full of authentic Persian flavours. The atmosphere is equally special, with an elegant Persian character and a very artistic interior design. Great attention has been paid to even the smallest details—from the beautiful decorations throughout the restaurant to the charming porcelain signs on the ladies’ restroom door (“the beauty of the house”) and the gentlemen’s restroom door (“my man”). The staff are also very warm and hospitable while remaining highly professional. The lady at the front desk kindly helped me find a table during a very busy period, even though I did not have a reservation. The other staff members, including the young gentleman and the middle-aged gentleman who served me, were also extremely polite, attentive, and professional. Highly recommended for anyone looking for premium Persian cuisine in a warm, artistic, and authentically Persian setting. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and the Iranian paintings and decorations make it feel even more authentic and welcoming. We ordered the Barg kebab and Koobideh, and both were excellent, flavorful, well-cooked, and definitely worth trying. The doogh was also unique and delicious. we had a very pleasant dining experience. The food and ambiance were great, although the prices were a bit on the expensive side. Our first experience with Persian cuisine, and it was excellent! We tried the grill specialties Kubideh and Barg, and both were incredibly delicious. We also enjoyed a refreshing pomegranate cocktail that was fantastic. There were so many tempting options on the menu that we definitely want to come back and try more dishes. The staff were amazingly positive, friendly, and helpful, which was the biggest highlight for us. The atmosphere was stylish and welcoming, and it’s also a great place to visit with children.
