I found my favorite place in Larnaca, right in front of the beautiful St. Lazarus Church. The view is amazing, and they serve excellent breakfasts with several options, including keto-friendly choices, which was a great find for me. A special thank you to Elena, the wonderful Russian-speaking waitress. She welcomed me with exceptional professionalism and friendliness, gave great recommendations, and provided top-class service throughout my visit. She speaks several languages, is very kind, attentive, and truly makes guests feel welcome. Fantastic food, outstanding service, and a perfect location. Highly recommended! 10/10 Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Burger had no sauce in it and instead of pickles, it had just cucumber. The fries had no flavour at all - no salt, no nothing. My fault for wanting a change from every meal being Suvlaki However, at least the traditional meal that my wife had, was good. There were a lot of cigarette smoke, which is fine and I get it is part of Cyprus, but when asked to be reseated, we ended up basically on the other side of the smoking table. Maybe introduce some seperation - smokers/non smokers tables. However, the waiter was nice and polite. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–15

I had a very disappointing experience at Stoa Cafe Restaurant. As a Cypriot who has visited many cafes and restaurants across the island, I can honestly say this was one of the worst examples of customer service I’ve encountered. We stopped by for a short 10-minute break and decided to order a Cyprus coffee and a juice, as clearly listed on the menu. The waitress politely informed us that they could not make coffee because the machine was “closed,” even though customers at nearby tables were drinking Cyprus coffee at that exact moment. We then changed our order to other beverages, and she initially accepted it. However, after about 5 minutes, she returned and apologized, explaining that the owner does not allow orders unless customers are also ordering food. I want to make it clear that the waitress herself was very polite and professional, and it was obvious she felt uncomfortable in that situation. That said, this policy is completely unacceptable. If beverages are listed on the menu, customers should be allowed to order them without being refused afterward. At the very least, there should be a clear sign informing customers about this policy. We chose to leave quietly without making a scene, but the experience felt rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this kind of management leaves a very negative impression. Dear Mr. Savvides, we apologise for this experience! Today is one of the busiest days of the year for our business, if we let everyone to sit for a coffee or drink only - we will not have chance to make our staff’s salaries, as we are not very big place. Please come any other day after holidays and we will treat you with free coffee! Once again apologies. And have a good Easter.
