We had a wonderful experience at gasthaus scherz while visiting cologne for a birthday trip! Staff were all friendly and helpful, as well as being very accommodating to my gluten free dietary needs. I called ahead, and they were happy to make gluten free versions of almost any item on the menu- I had a gluten free schnitzel and even tried some gluten free kaiserschmarrn, both of which were excellent!! All food was great, and they even brought out a small birthday treat which was really appreciated. They also have a good variety of wines by the glass, as well as lots of small plates to try as part of a set menu. Would highly recommend Price per person: €40–50 Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free options, just be sure to call ahead
