Very disappointing experience. We ordered Butter Chicken and Shahi Paneer, and both dishes were overwhelmingly sweet. I understand that these dishes can have a slight sweetness, but this felt as if several spoons of sugar had been added to each gravy. The flavor was so sweet that eating the curries with rice genuinely reminded me of eating kheer rather than a savory Indian meal. Even hours later, the sweet taste was still lingering. For nearly €40, I expected authentic flavors and a better balance of spices. Unfortunately, both dishes tasted almost identical because the sweetness overpowered everything else. This was one of the most disappointing Indian meals I have had in Germany. I hope the restaurant reconsiders its recipes and reduces the amount of sugar in these dishes. We always order takeaway from Sagar and it's the best! Delivered hot, with a smile, and in generous servings. Usually with a mango lassi or two as well! Ordering is easy with their website & PayPal. Oh, and they'll also make it nice and spicy if you like it that way. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
