We had such a wonderful experience at this Persian restaurant! We originally wanted to order Barg and Koobideh, but unfortunately Barg wasn’t available. They recommended the Lamb Soltani and Jujeh Soltani instead, and we are so glad we listened! The Lamb Soltani was absolutely fantastic! Very tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was similar to Barg in style, made with beautifully tender lamb entrecôte, and honestly one of the best lamb kebabs we’ve had. The Koobideh was also excellent: great-quality meat, perfectly seasoned, and without that overly fatty or onion-heavy taste you sometimes get. The Jujeh was incredibly tender and delicious as well. The torshi Liete was outstanding! What really made the experience special, though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. We had such a lovely conversation and genuinely enjoyed spending time with him. He even brought us some crispy rice tahdig with a little ghormeh sabzi to try, explaining that they don’t usually have tahdig available but wanted us to taste it. They also asked whether we liked sour flavors and brought us some delicious homemade aloocheh (plum paste) to try. These little touches really made us feel welcomed and cared for. The ghormeh sabzi was also very good. Everything was excellent, from the food to the hospitality, and we had such a great experience. This will definitely become our go-to Persian restaurant whenever we’re craving a really good kebab. We’ll absolutely be coming back!
