Dined here on 15/01/2026, We were the first to enter an empty restaurant but single waiter was really nice and welcomed us warmly. We were staying on 1 night at this hotel and we had half board rate so dinner was included. In winter dinner is à la carte, and you can order a lot of dishes basically one of each category and type for person. We ate a Cypriot salads, a mushroom soup (which was really earthy), and Angus burger and beef stifado. Everything was nice and enjoyable and the portions were good. Overall a very nice experience considering this was not the prime season to eat in Paralimni and in general in Cyprus. Only thing, the waiter was like in a hurry even though there was not that much people, but still he was nice to the customers. Good job ! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were guests of the wedding celebration in Cavo Zoe / Salty Bar. Honestly, the staff was very unprofessional, rude, and some moments were unacceptable! The young lady with curled hair was getting angry that there is no space for her to place more dishes with food - it was obviously not our fault of their meze plates management - they knew upfront how many people will seat on the table and how many plates must fit - you just test the concept before selling it as a wedding option And we had nothing but phones on the table, the rest was food we were eating, and wine glasses. What can we do with this? They could have placed more food on a spare table or come up with other ideas on their own if they saw the plan is a failure. Just figure out how to manage, but don’t become rude on customers or take away the plates from our table to fit the new ones - it’s very unprofessional. They didn’t fill in our wine glasses at all, we could sit with empty glasses for half an our waiting for someone to waive on - they wouldn’t check who else misses wine when we finally asked, they would just take the bottle away after pouring for one person who asked, so we had to shout to pour for all of us please. Again, poor management with wine bottles - they could leave a bottle on the table with ice and exchange it to new bottles if they are too busy. Whether they didn’t care or didn’t have enough of staff - not the problem of the visitors but the management! The most unacceptable part was that stuff was taking away meze food we share (unfinished!), plates with food we were eating from, and wine glasses (!) disappeared too - all without asking!!! The event didn’t end but this all was disappearing. Imagine a situation you have a big full plate of meat ribs on the table (all dishes were meze), shrimps, some desserts to share, and they take away this all just in front of you without asking. To the kitchen. You are left with empty tables - no food, no plates you were eating from, some people were even missing their wine glasses when they came back from the dance floor. I am talking about 1,5h before the event ends. The staff was just cleaning tables all the time during the event! I saw them walking around tables and taking away things non stop - food, glasses, plates, fruits. While we were dancing, walking around talking to people . Even before the event has ended, they already took away our chairs and tables, guys They started preparing the tables for the morning while we were still officially having an event going on. My purse was hanging on someone’s chair and the table and my chair was gone. How can you explain this? I come back and have nowhere to sit while officially the event is still not finished. This is pretty unacceptable. You never take away even a glass (I am not talking about food!) without asking if you can clean it. The ending was epic. We were served pizzas. To share. Again, great idea with meze. But nobody has a plate to put that pizza slice on. We asked the staff - can we get a plate since ours were taken away, and maybe a glass of wine as there is nothing to drink from? The staff tells us (I am citing!): - we don’t have plates. We don’t have any glasses. We can give you only a plastic cup. The situation was so weird we were all frozen in a moment.. we just said thank you and the staff left. I personally didn’t want to interact with them after they took away the plate of food I wanted to try (I was planning to dance and have a bite after), and then my plate with the dessert disappeared when I came back from the WC This was by far the worst staff experience I had in my life.. I hope this comment will reach managers of the event organisation and the bar staff too :) Meal type: Other Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dear Eleonora, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your experience at the wedding celebration held at Cavo Zoe / Salty Bar. We are deeply sorry to hear that your experience fell so drastically short of expectations, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience caused to you and the other guests. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the series of unacceptable issues you encountered: Table Service & Meze Management: We understand your frustration regarding the overcrowding of plates and the staff's reaction. This is not how our meze concept is designed to be served or managed. We should have anticipated space requirements and had a clear plan for additional dishes, utilizing side tables or other solutions without disrupting your meal. The act of removing plates to make room without asking is fundamentally against our service standards. Wine Service & Staff Attentiveness: It is unacceptable that your glasses remained empty and that you had to actively seek service. Our protocol is to ensure all guests are attended to promptly and that wine is served thoughtfully, whether by bottle service at the table or by vigilant staff. We clearly failed in this basic aspect of hospitality. Premature Clearing and Clean-Up: This is the most concerning part of your account. Under no circumstances should staff remove food that is being eaten, clear plates guests are still using, or take away personal items like wine glasses—let alone chairs and tables—before an event has concluded. This demonstrates a severe breakdown in communication, training, and respect for the guests' experience. We are truly appalled that you were left without a seat or a place for your belongings while the event was ongoing. The Final Incident (Plates & Glasses): The situation you described at the end, where you were served pizza but told there were no plates or proper glasses available, is indefensible. It contradicts everything a celebratory dining experience should be. Your detailed description is invaluable to us. While we do organize many events and consistently receive amazing feedback, which we are grateful for, your experience reveals critical failures that we must and will address immediately. This is not reflective of our standards or our team's usual dedication. We are taking the following steps: Launching an immediate internal investigation with the event management and service team from that day. Conducting mandatory retraining for all staff on fundamental service etiquette, specifically focusing on guest-centric communication (never clearing without asking), proactive service, and the fundamental principle that cleanup does not begin until the guests have concluded their event. Reviewing and restructuring our logistics and staffing plans for large meze-style events to prevent space and service issues. We understand that an apology cannot change what happened, but we hope it conveys how seriously we take this. We would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss this further with you or the wedding hosts directly, to offer a more personal apology and to make amends. If you are comfortable, please contact our management directly at [Insert Email Address] or [Insert Phone Number]. Your feedback has already reached the highest level of our organization. Again, we are profoundly sorry for the disappointment and embarrassment caused on such a special occasion. Sincerely, Georgios Motsios General Manager
