This hotel is nice overall. The reception staff are very kind and friendly, which makes a great first impression. Breakfast is good, and the restaurant is also quite nice. The only downside is that the rooms on the second floor are too small for two people. They are fine for one person, but for two guests they feel cramped Service: 5

We were guests at the breakfast buffet here on Ascension Day and were totally thrilled. Everything is lovingly designed, a mega-large selection, everything a breakfast lover loves can be found here. The staff was very, very friendly, courteous and on the ball. The delicacies are always freshly prepared and refilled. Big compliments to the Hotel am Tierpark in Gotha, and we are already looking forward to our next visit there. “The good is so close” is completely true for us here.
