Since the restaurant and hotel cannot be rated separately here on Google, I will only refer to the restaurant in the review below: I ate here twice within a few weeks and had both the fillet steak (The Italian) with rocket and parmesan and the asparagus Black Forest ham. My companion each had cevapcici and veal liver. Statements included: “The best veal liver I have ever eaten” or “Finally a steak that came exactly the way I wanted it” — in short: it was incredibly tasty. The portions are generous, so the prices are completely justified. The food is also beautifully presented. What is also positive is that the atmosphere in the restaurant itself is very cozy and inviting, there are starched tablecloths and it is very clean overall. The service is very polite and accommodating. I was happy to leave a big tip both times because I hope that businesses like this last and are permanently busy. A real diamond in unspectacular Velpke. Since that's where I'm originally from, I'll be at Visitors come around more often now. Service: 5
