We found this place by chance about 1.5 years ago, not too far from our home, and since then it has become a monthly habit for our family. I have tried the buffet both without BBQ, just 1 time, and with BBQ. After that, I always chose to come when BBQ is available. The highlights for me are definitely the battered fried shrimp and the battered fried banana with honey. The owners must have a special batter recipe, because all the battered dishes here are very tasty, clean, and well prepared. For the BBQ, the seafood is very fresh and there is a good variety of vegetables. The buffet dishes are also consistently fresh. The owners seem very careful about refilling and keeping the food in good condition. Even on a few visits when the restaurant was not very busy, the food still tasted fresh and never felt dry, old, or unpleasant like at some other buffet places. Every time we eat here, we see many elderly guests and many regular customers, which is always a good sign that the food is tasty and clean. The restaurant is also friendly for larger families and families with children. Overall, the price is very reasonable for the quality. A reliable and enjoyable buffet place in Hannover. Price per person: €20–30 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection
