Did not stay there just had a dinner which was good but just good. Dishes served here are pretty oryginal because, for example, of adding mustard on top of steak pork - interestig experience. The service however was very helpful and friendly. Service: 5

A lovely place to stay and eat. Local, organic, sustainable food. I love the "Mi-Do" lunch service - it's quick, cheap and tasty. The dinner menu is extensive with a lot of regional specialities. The portions are adjustable, I prefer to order smaller ones. Service: 5

Gasthaus “Goldener Löwe” was an absolute delight and pleasant night stop on our cycling trek along the Elbe. We arrived outside of normal hotel hours, but the arrival/self check in instructions were absolutely clear and easy to follow. The Gasthaus has excellent storage for bicycles, and there is a range of tools and equipment to do minor bike maintenance. The room was spacious and comfortable with the added bonus of a washing machine. Being a Whit Monday long holiday weekend, all shops were closed. However, Felix - the owner - kindly provided washing detergent and milk. We ordered the optional breakfast and were delighted at the extensive spread. Gasthaus “Goldener Löwe” is perfect for cyclists. But other travellers will also find this hotel a perfect stopping point in the region of Riesa. We highly recommend this Gasthaus! Service: 5

Dear Fam. Goosen, Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! It was a real pleasure having you stay with us during your cycling tour along the Elbe. We are especially happy that you enjoyed our cyclist-friendly facilities, the breakfast and that even the little things – like the washing detergent and milk – made your stay more comfortable. As a family-run guesthouse, we always try to make our guests feel at home, especially travellers arriving after a long day on the bike.
