Amazing gem close to A8, elegant, cozy, great food and service. From breakfast ro dinner, everything is just exceptionally tasty. Worth the stop to have such a great break. Right around the corner there is a flower farm to add to the experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €20–30

We were traveling through Germany and stopped for the night at a hotel just off the highway. The next morning, we simply looked for the nearest place serving breakfast — and luck brought us to Das Philippin. We’re so grateful it did! We found a cosy yet elegant place, with warm and courteous service and an amazing selection of breakfast options. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. And let’s not forget the coffee! A beautifully balanced dark roast that really hits the spot and was the perfect finish to a great breakfast. What started as a random stop along our journey turned into one of those lovely little discoveries you remember. We would absolutely love to come back!
