During my travels around Europe, I came across a restaurant called Buddha. The name intrigued me, but it turned out to be a scam. I was with a group of 5 or 6 people, and we ordered two Chana Masalas, two chili chickens, two chicken curries, some rice, and naan bread. To our dismay, the Chana Masala had a terrible smell. We mentioned this to the staff, and they actually took food from our plates, tasted it with their hands, and insisted it was fresh, even claiming they didn't notice any smell. It was the worst Chana Masala I have ever had, and we couldn't even finish it. The naan bread was not authentic; it was a thick, under-cooked dough that had been placed in the oven and served to us. The chili chicken was overloaded with tomatoes and was sweet instead of the spicy flavor we had requested. There was an elderly lady who started arguing with us, claiming that nobody had complained during her entire career there. However, after checking her reviews, it was clear that she had somewhat of a bias. She even mentioned that Buddha was born in India, displaying a lack of knowledge on the subject. In the end, we paid for the meal without receiving any apology for the poor quality. I believe health inspectors should visit that restaurant and shut it down immediately, as there were bugs crawling around the corner. I regret having to write this, but human health is more important than someone's business. No more scams like this! Dear guest,We remember your visit clearly. Your group of five ordered three dishes and finished every plate completely.However, when it came time to pay the bill, you refused payment without any valid reason, became loud and disruptive toward our staff, and ran out of the restaurant as soon as we moved to call the police.We have zero tolerance for non-payment and retaliatory negative reviews. Our team works hard every day to serve our guests, and this type of behaviour is completely unacceptable.Team Buddha
