This is a nice little restaurant in a building which is over 300 years old. It's within walking distance from the town center near a little creek. One can dine inside or outside, we chose inside because it was starting to rain. The inside is cozy, we had no reservations but got right in. Lots of old pictures from Dannenberg are hanging on the walls and they are quite interesting. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I ordered the white asparagus with hollendaise sauce, boiled new potatoes and the Schnitzel. All were prepared to perfection. My husband ordered the white asparagus and a rumpsteak, also prepared to perfection (medium rare and it was 'tender'). They are closed on Monday. Regular dining hours are from 11am to 2pm. Recommend to check the Internet for their hours. Food quality was very good and they have fair prices. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40
