I was in the Akropolis restaurant for the first time with my son on October 6, 2023. You have to know that we have been to Borkum very often and have therefore visited numerous other restaurants. Unfortunately, the Acropolis can't really keep up. The ambience inside is not cozy and the service is quite dominant. The neighboring tables were given lamb in three variations as recommended by the chef, but unfortunately none of it was offered to us. We ordered the gyros plate for children and the pork medallions, which were served with rice and fries. On the plus side, the pork was tender and on point. Unfortunately, the gyro was very dry, the rice was watery and the fries were just fries. The salad was served somewhat carelessly in a small bowl with an indefinable thin sauce. Olive oil would have been nice. The starters on the menu were typically Greek, but I would have liked more Greek for the main courses, for example moussaka.
